The municipality of Pielavesi was the best entrepreneur-friendly municipality in Northern Savonia in 2019.

The mission of the Livelihood Office of Pielavesi is to help all kinds of enterprises to succeed in Pielavesi. The mayor of Pielavesi is in charge of the Livelihood Office. The services are organized in cooperation with a livelihood company Savogrow Oy(opens in a new window, switching to another service).

The Livelihood Office implements livelihood strategy of the municipality and is responsible for the advisory services for enterprises in cooperation with partners. The main mission is to create modern and versatile operating conditions for enterprises and to develop enterprise activities holistically.

Especially, the focus is on removing obstacles from the growth of existing enterprises and developing cooperation. With the help of the department’s experts, new enterprises and business areas find opportunities to successfully develop their operations into profitable businesses.
