Playgrounds

Pielavesi has one municipally maintained general playground, which is called playground of Savikko (address: Puistotie 35, 72400 Pielavesi).

The municipality has several playgrounds in the courtyards of schools and daycares. You can find them in the school of Rannankylä, school of Puustelli, school and daycare in Northern Pielavesi, school and daycare in Säviä and daycare Tarulinna.

The municipality’s Environment and Living Service is responsible for the care and maintenance of the areas.

Multi-purpose fields

Pielavesi has two multi-purpose fields. One is in the courtyard of the school of Rannankylä (address: Puistotie 7) and the other one is in the courtyard of the school of Puustelli (address: Laurinpurontie 23). In the multi-purpose fields you can play for example football, floorball, basketball and many other games.

It is free to use the multi-purpose fields. Remember to keep the spaces clean and keep your sport equipment with you.

Parkour area

The municipality’s maintained parkour area is located in the courtyard of Rannankylä school (address: Puistotie 7).

Skate park

The skate park is located in the courtyard of Puustelli school (address: Laurinpurontie 23). The park is available to the skating public and bmx bike riders.
